Embedded within Magnit Global’s engineering team, working on Magnit Shifts, a healthcare workforce management platform serving facilities across multiple regions.

• Served as the primary backend engineer supporting a cross-functional mobile engineering team across India, the UK, and Ireland, enabling continuous feature delivery across time zones.
• Designed and developed RESTful APIs in Go powering mobile features within Magnit Shifts, enabling mobile engineers to ship product capabilities without backend blockers.
• Analysed and navigated a complex distributed system architecture to identify and reuse existing APIs, often tracing services and data flows for 2–3 hours per investigation, reducing redundant backend development and accelerating feature delivery.
• Extended existing production APIs to support evolving mobile requirements while maintaining backward compatibility and zero regression, allowing new product capabilities to be introduced without disrupting existing workflows.
• Extended the notification infrastructure with in-app and push notification channels, building on the existing email-based system to provide workforce users with more immediate and accessible notifications across the product.
• Implemented timezone-aware booking retrieval to correctly handle bookings across geographically distributed facilities, improving the accuracy and reliability of schedule and booking information presented to users in different regions.
• Contributed to a 10+ member globally distributed engineering team, working across sprint planning, technical discussions, debugging, API design, and delivery to align backend implementation with product and mobile development timelines.
